ROCHESTERGIRL,
What do you want to do?? Treasure hunt. Cache hunt. Nugget shoot. Or do you just want to go out and noodle around and do a little coin shooting? If you want to coin shoot, there should be a ton of places around there. How about the river, there must be some boating ramps, or small beaches or swimming holes. All good places to coin shoot. I have found a lot of jewelry at such places. Keep your eyes open and let your mind wonder, anyplace where a handful or more, of people have gathered, you will usually find a few coins, the older the better. [Not the people, the site.]

Hey bob,
Im looking to cache hunt so i probably have to go to the library and all that.. i was just wondering if you knew anything off the top of your head there..yes i will go looking down where people are just havent done that yet... thanks bob are you really in colorado?? ???

OK, here's one for you which will produce some good finds. Try Eagle Island, in the bay off Webster. This was a premier scout camp site turn of the century. Lots of silver but you'll need to ask for permission.
I am near Syr. and find the best hunting anywhere along the St. Lawrence River, lots of virgin hunting and always willing to share. There are also some very good horse tracks around, we've found great coins at these. I can go on and on. As far as caches go, well those take some work...
