I don't know which is is. I suspect token since it has no date, country, or denomination, but, there isn't anything to indicate what it's for or where it came from. The only letters on it are VB on one side. I've looked a bit on Token Catalog, but to do a search, you need some words or phrases. It's 28mm (1 1/8") in diameter, chrome-like finish, and non-magnetic. It's too heavy for aluminum, but, I'm not sure what metal it's made of... maybe stainless? Casino token?

"This is a general purpose token. It has the stock design of tokensdirect.com and Van Brook both of which now are owned by Osborne Coinage Company. The stock token designs #0386 and #1521 were stock designs of all the minters. These tokens are used in Gaming machines, arcades, vending machines, etc. There is no one company that uses them. This information came from Community Ventures 859-259-0316 Who were responding to my email requests for information. These tokens come in 3 different sizes, and can be either brass or nickel plated brass. They have been around for many years and have been found in the Carribbean islands, and throughout the US."
