What you need to track down and read is a copy of Gary Patterson's book, "United States Swastika, 1907-1936" and his update. These cover all sorts of medals, tokens, fobs, etc. that carry an image of a swastika, both left and right-handed (armed?) ones. Yes, they are widely collected and his book covers the history of many of the pieces. The swastika was widely used as a good luck symbol until the Nazi party started using it. The book is privately printed, and I am sure still available. His e-mail is gptokens at comcast dot net.

I found one about 20 years ago in an old roadway. It said drink coca cola and had a coke bottle embossed on it. I sold it at an antique store for a lot less than it would be worth now. Always wished I would have kept it. I was really young then and didn't know what I had. One lives and one learns.
