If there are screw holes on the reverse side, they could be decorative handles for a chest. If that is the case, then they are very old handles.

Good job on the electrolysis. Those are very cool and ornate.

Not sure what they are but they look really old ( medieval or so ) I'm sure the U.K. members will have a clue ...

No idea what they are but I like the design. Pretty cool. Congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Very nice restoration job! :icon_thumleft:

Good preservation and welcome also

Look like they could be door knockers, anything on backs for fastening, very nice restoration, congrats

I was Jest Geoking about the bottle opener parts But I like where you are going with this. Too small for a chest but I could see these riveted to an iron cooking pot for handles

Nice finds. Great job with the restoration. Congrats

Clearly these are 2 matching handles that have 2 filled in fixing holes. I've seen similar on the side of large cooking pots, but I'm guessing it could have gone on many different metal (I believe) buckets/pots or maybe on a stove.

That was my guess when looking at them....Looks like maybe handles for a cast iron pot.
