1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard JackieMac! Take a look at Forum: Texas for information (i.e., clubs, etc.) directly related to your state.

2nd - I am probably wrong but it sure looks like the end of a suspender?

Welcome to the site. I too believe it to be a suspender buckle.

Depending on how heavily constructed it is, maybe a leather strap end.
