I'm not sure what it is but visualize a hose nozzle with a dual head having the capability of giving you a straight stream or a spray pattern. I see the threads where the hose screws into the nozzle, the ring that keeps the nozzle attached to the hose when not screwed on and the ball chain link that allows it to be turned and thus attached. Of course a couple of beers are involved in this assessment so it might just as well be something else entirely. 2dgs

We used to have tips like that on the "Indian" water backpacks (with trombone-style hand pump) for firefighting at the Scout Camp I was staff at. The single tip was for distance and the other one ran the streams together and caused them to spray wider.

And of course water fights between "camps"on the weekends.

My gosh! Current manufacture is IDENTICAL and even shows the tip. The ones I used were 50/60/70's era?!?!?!

Wow Charlie, that brings back some memories, I worked for a nursery, and used the old ones too...but we mixed up some concoction of toxic chemicals, DDT,etc. to spray on the plants....man, those were the good old days..
