Found this item along with some Civil War bullets and a post war button in a new site I started hunting this weekend. The item appears to be thin brass but I have no idea what it could go to. The two wings with rolled ends looks as if they were bent at 90 degrees before it was flatten out. Thanks for any help and ideas !
