Any Idea's??

Happy Fathers Day! Found this yesterday after a short morning hunt and I have no idea what it is! It's about 8mm in diameter and looks the same on the reverse side. If I had to guess, I would say a snap or some sort of rivet. Any idea's? Thanks!
