99% certain that's a fuel tank for an RC airplane or car

I'm still detecting at a family home site. I found a 1925 mercury dime. and... I found a bottle hole. i was searching for the privy hole because I knew that there was an outhouse. The hole I opened was about 3 foot deep and about 2 foot wide. I found an enamel pot with broken glass and a couple of small cork bottles. I kept digging and ended up finding about 10 perfect bottles. hopefully this wasnt the privy because I was expecting to find more than what I did. STILL EXCITING!! cant wait to get back out there. Anyhow...I found this and have no ideas of what it could be. It does not open up.
