Any ideas on this ring?

Hi all, I am new to the detecting world. Found some good stuff today, 2- wheaties, clad coins, but 1 item has me and my detecting partner stumped. Appears to be a solid bronze ring. looking for any info.

Need a clearer in focus picture. Try using the Macro setting on your camera.

Welcome to the forum. What kind of area did you find it?

Found it while detecting a late 1800s house place. New road being cut in so about two feet of soil had just been removed and it was still about 10in. deep. Sorry for the poor pics, will try to take better ones.

Looks like base metal of a ring that used to be either gold or silver plated...........NGE
