Hello. I found this yesterday at a 1930's-ish home site. It is brass, I think, not iron for sure and about 1.5-IN across with nothing on the back. Thanks. C9

I think it's just a generic academic based keychain, maybe purchased by someone who values knowledge, or pretends they do, or perhaps for coming in 9th in a spelling bee.
