i am now really thinking about checking into a program to help with my treasure hunting addiction..
monday i hit the woods with my detector..found some clad and an older make up compact..
and then i came across this statue...it's headless and weighs around 145lbs.
and yes after digging it up i decieded to take this hernia inducing hunk of concrete..to my truck it was around 200 yards away..and yes i had to call a bud to help..he said i'm nuts.. it is 36" to the top of where the head was..
i'm gonna go back and see if i can find the head..or should i???
any ideas of the era it's from?? it does have really cool patina..
thanks for looking..HH
OWG.

thats only like 35mile from you, so not to far to haul it, maybe a vender at the festival sells them

I right clicked on the images and saved them, then down loaded and posted. I think you are on the right track.
