I have some shirt buttons like that too... also, they used those four holers for underwear buttons late 1800s/early 1900s. Key to dating it is the *U.S.A* mark which I have no idea about...

My opinion only - no value.

Although, if you KNOW it's 19th century... it would look cool displayed with other relics.

Found a ton of these in a WWI camp. It is a utility button from an Army uniform of that era. Goes on the pants. Check this link and scroll down.
