These are copies of coins, but obviously larger. That's a Lincoln Cent in the center for reference. Weight is (guessing) between 1-2 ounces, and I'm guessing also they're diecast? There's no other writing or markings on them that isn't on the actual coin (no manufacturer or trademark), and the backs coincide with the origional coins as well.

Anyone know where these originated from?

Its been several years ago but I remember seeing something like them used as coffee/tumbler coasters. Might have been at my grandma's house.

I've got a buffalo nickel like those,bought it at a gift shop in New Hampshire.I buried mine in my back yard when i first started teaching my daughter how to use her detector.Wow,was she ever excited digging that up..LOL

I remember these as novelty prizes from carnivals back in the 70's. Actually won a couple myself. I'm pretty sure you could also purchase them at the local 5 and dime store.

I remember having something like these as a kid. I got them at some gift shop in Gatlinburg, TN. in the early 90's. I had a Lincoln cent, Washington quarter, IH cent, Buffalo nickel, and one or two others that I can't remember. I should have them boxed away in my parent's attic.

yeah i have 2 0r 3 of those coins there neat but i think there just a novelty item.
i collect coins so figured i would save them
