Any ideas for these relics???

Your second pictured items are horse harness gag loops... commonly used even today. Those are in wonderful shape! :)

The first item may be part of a horse boss... or rosette, a decorative horse tack item.

It doesn't look like anything is broken off. I found everything from Spanish Reales to a 1754 Portuguese coin and a british half penny from the late 1600's. This site was OLD and the relics spanned many years. I also found a U.S. three cent piece as well. Thanks for the help....Henry

Thanks guys... I was second guessing this at work last night because of those hooks/clamps/studs... I was originally thinking they gripped a leather or wood backing... I can imagine decorative ribbons or horsehair or cloth being used through those holes in the rossette which I also only imagined as 1700s.

I've seen these type of pins bent over on late Victorian - 1920s horse brasses.
