The picture on the left looks like something that would be on a Hawaii totem pole. I can see two eyes, a nose, and a mouth. With an Elvis Presley hair cut.

The way it has holes in it makes me think bone, could be petrified bone of some sort.A museum or college geology department might help with a definite I.D.

I'm holding tight to a sculpture of Elvis Presley until somebody comes up with a more sound theory.

It is a marker. The lion, it's the guardian of the western door. This is the stuff you see in eastern part of the country. Things are a little different on this side of the country. The signs and the symbols are the same. There is no real big monuments like the ones out west. Your dealing with the Jesuits. My opinion of coarse. I do know their work. For the ones who make jokes on here you should ignore them. If you will please take more pictures of the stone. Different angles is what I mean. It's a nice piece. Bwb

I have tried several times downloading other pictures but it keeps failing for some reason. I closed my browser and re-opened but it did the same thing. I will re-try later on.
