In the process of re establishing our local American Legion Post here in our town, in the building we found some goodies, haven't been out in the yard yet, but I have heard it should be a good place to hunt and no one I have talked to has ever seen anyoine in the area. Here is a picture of a shell and casing I found. Any idea what it is? I don't' remember any markings on it but can clean it up a bit more and look better next time I'm down there.

Scud ? LOL

LOL, they talking at the post that it wouldn't be very good for deer hunting if you wanted to eat it :) That and a Scud would more than likely tear it up a bit....

90 mm from a ship cannon is my guess.

Look at the head casing and see if there are any markings. Usually it'll have the year made and the manufacturer origin. At least this is how smaller rounds are labeled! From there you can actually measure the diameter to see what size it is and do a little homework on the internet.

Looks a lot like an old Howitzer round maybe? Its most definite a artillery round

That's it Willie
