Looks ancient ! Don't have any idea but I like it.
 

I agree with Frank. Fantasy cobb. Look for a casting line on the edge.

Looks kinda like a Brasher Dabloon “Lima Style” perhaps. 1742 dates but actually struck in 1786. Very very similar in design but prior to Brasher working with gold. Also kinda looks like a J. Charmers design. He was a Silversmith in Maryland in the 1780’s... Annapolis. 1783 SixPence?...

Get R.S Yeoman “A guide to US Coins” official Red book. It’s a must have for coin collectors ;)
