I bought a bunch of stuff at an estate sale last weekend. The guy was an airline mechanic at MIA back in the day before he passed. Among the items that I purchased were these small aluminum cap type things with the Pan Am logo on them You can see they were glued on and forcefully pried off of something. Any idea as to what they came of off? Here's the pics-

If he was a mechanic, perhaps these were replacement caps for something on the interior of the plane, the seats maybe. Think screw covers...

Thanks for the replies

Button caps, maybe?
That was my first thought too. I actually have a few of the brass Pan Am uniform buttons that I got at the same sale.

Yeah, I thought about that but I can't find anything silmilar.

I did find a piece of luggage with a similar attachment on it. The piece is new though , not vintage but perhaps there were some original pieces made like this too. Don't know why he'd have so many of them though, especially pried off. Here is the link with a photo- Pan Am Luggage 80th Anniversary Away Carry-On Suitcase Whatever it is, i'm sure it's nothing sigificant. I was just kind of wondering if anyone had seen anything similar before or had any ideas.
