Vino, where are you located? If in America I'd say some kind of lodge button, but if in Europe, then that's an entire different story. There are people on here that can give you and answer, but they have to have someplace to start their research.

Just looked at it again. Has anything been broken or rusted off the back? Could also be a horse bridle rosette.

It says w.wiliams newport soho..I am in Philadelphia. .it was found at a church that was occupied by the British in 1777-78..

PS: St. Martins Lane is in Soho according to GOOGLE. The address could have changed several times. Hopefully you can find some info on Walter Williams Co.
