Made it out detecting today. The thing on the left has a brass head, the other thing is cast with newton New Haven stamped on the inside. It’s about 4”by 1.5”

I found a smaller br/on piece the other day ! I think mine was a watch winder. But yours looks like a stopper for a bottle perhaps. The cast object I'd say is a mirror or part of a light. Take a picture of each and send it to Google lens ! Bammm! Problem solved! .... sometimes

That maker mark is associated with Newton die casting....that's a start anyways.

It could just be a reflective part. I've seen old miner lights that had a reflector behind the light source

I was thinking it may be a ball joint or something. Like a tie rod maybe. The top is brass and the bottom looks like threaded iron.

Looks like the front half or the face of a very old Golf driver head.
