Its a Belgian Ale wooden mug, my guess is that no more than 60 years old because of the brass tacks holding the bands together. They still sell the same exact ones of course; many buy them and carve their own logo in them and leave them at the local shooting range or football clubs where they go the most.

Pretty cool find.
