For early dates and numbers there is a market for them. anything after the 1950s isnt much sought after unless someone wants something specific. An auction site online would be your best bet to find it a home. I've found three, the oldest being 1934. I was offered $5 for it. I didn't sell.

There is fellow Tnet'r , Neil, On here that collects them, but as mentioned above. The early ones are much more desirable...Still a cool find thou
 

As metal detecting hobbyist, we all collect them. :icon_scratch: Cause we all find them. :dontknow:

There is a market for older ones. Post it over in the tokens section under "got dog tags" (or something to that affect).
