Hi everyone,Has anyone ever saw a coin like this before? The front of it has the bust of a man facing left with what appears to be a helmet on his head it has no legible writing on it.The other side has no detail at all as far as I can tell.I know the pics aren't the best but it's the best I could get.I actually think you can see the bust better on the zoomed out pic. This coin was found on the coast of Maine in the same area where my dad found an 87 A.D. roman bronze a couple years ago.I know some of you are probably thinking, yeah right, but this is no B.S. his coin has been authenticated.I'm not saying this one is a roman also but it is within the realm of possibility. So,anyone know anything about this one? ???Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Bootstrap

Definitely not a penny, pennies don't have beading like that along the edge and check out the size, thats why I included the dime for size reference. Thanks anyway Ron,Bootstrap

Thanks dugfinds, that thought had crossed my mind but when I saw the bust on it I thought maybe, hopefully,it was a coin and since I'm no expert on world coins I was hoping someone might recognize it as something they've seen before.size wise and the beading it resembles the roman widows mite but those didn't have the bust. Thanks again,Bootstrap
