Any clues on this relic?

I'm not sure what this was for. I do see what looks like some solder marks in the top corners. The object is 2" along one side, 1 1/2" by 2 1/2".

Looks like an old womans belt buckle on the age could be 1850's-1880's, I'm going on Civilwar buckles. Good luck. Ed

It's somehow similar in age to my suspender buckle! 8)

Half of a ladies belt buckle. I think late 1800's to mid 1900's. There have been others posted in different threads that are similar.
