Any clue on age of this Weird Hook ?

I found this (guessing) about 30+ years ago . I have had it hanging on a large nail in my barn for the last 25+ years . I had it before barn was ever built . It is about 1 1/4 inch thick . Maybe 10 inches long . It was definitely hand made many years ago . I guess there is really no way to tell the age of it . Anyone ever found anything like it ?

Looks like a hook off a large tractor or better yet a dozer.

It was found at a old saw mill that was ran by my great-grand father . It was ran as far back to about 1900 . He was also the local blacksmith .

Dang , didn't think about that . It was funny . Wife was in my shop and seen it on the floor . She walked over to it and grabbed the handle and went to pick it up and swore it was stuck to the floor . It is crazy how heavy it is . By looking at it you would never think it could be that heavy .

Being that it was found at the sawmill, it could have been used to move logs on site or a logger lost it.
