Any Cannon Ball Experts?

there are several of us here that have knowledge in various areas of them... so yes.

What is your question ?

Cannonballguy is extremely knowledgeable. He will ask for exact diameter (use calipers) and weight (a scale that weighs in tenths of a gram). After that he can determine if it is a cannon ball or something else.

Oh, and AARC Has some knowledge about balls too. (Cannonballs, that is.) heh. ::laughing7::laughing7:

I started a thread under "what's it worth". And it's Titled "Henry Hudson CannonBalls". Any way I can copy and post that thread here?

He's right... Cannonballguy and some others have a vast knowledge of them. He's written a book on them I believe. Do your homework with the calipers and EXACT weight then post again with some good photo's.

All I need is a weight... only in pounds... no need for "tenths of a gram".
And a good picture...
A location of recovery... or near...
And I will give you my "opinion" (heh) ...
OR I will narrow it down.

If you don't get an answer here, go onto Utube and contact AQuachigger aka Beau Ouimette. He had found quite a few and seems very knowledgeable.

Yeah, I think I got that wrong. I think he only asks for pounds and ounces. Sorry about that.
