I found this button at a site where I have recovered 3 different 1700's Spanish coins and many different flat buttons. It appears to be an early colonial site but I am unable to find any information on the backmark of this button. :icon_scratch:

Has anyone found buttons with this backmark?

Can anyone help date the button for me. It looks like an imperial crown on the back along with "BEST QUALITY" :help:

Being thick like that it probably dates towards the end of the flat button era.... maybe 1830s/40s.
