We got a bottle guy here named "Surf" who surely will be chipping in with this post - at least on the "more information" part...

Site digger u do any bottle digging

I mean it's not my goal to go out and find bottles like some guys i know who just want to bottle hunt- but I have dug probably almost 100 bottles from the Civil War era (mostly medicine and champagne) out of pits and huts and late 19th century/early 20th century bottles. But nothing that is a big WOW just your pretty typical CW bottles.. I have been on digs before though were some amazing bottles have come out and have helped out on the dig. I think i am en-titled to dig a rare bottle soon but I won't keep my hopes up.

Hello jtw,

Nice picture druggist, sir. I'd like to see better photos, in natural light, that feature the embossing, the base, and the neck where the seams rise to the finish, please. It looks to be about 1910-1917 age wise. It has a reinforced extract finish, catchy slogan, and the color going for it. I've not seen one sell, and my Ohio book is in a box somewhere, so my WAG is somewhere in Grantland.

Here's a bit of history of the firm: Drug Trade Weekly: 1922

"Prescriptions our specialty; when our label is on the bottle you know it is right." - Footnote on a neat soda water menu card of Winger's Drug Store ,Sixty fifth street and Fir avenue, Cleveland, Ohio." Druggists Circular - 1909
