I need help from the ID experts I dug this on Tues. after the excavators spread
the dirt around The area had a demolished 1851 tenant house(Dec.) and a 1867 church
The item is 1 3/16 inch wide and 5/8th inch high brass i think unfortunately the
bulldozer did a job on it :( I'm thinking a childs tea/coffee kettle ? ?
anyone want to confirm my idea or give another opinion
any help is geatly appreciated

Old oiler can maybe?
It has what looks to be an artificial cap non removeable other than the bottom
being separated from the bulldozer i don't see how they could've filled it ?
thanks for your input though True_Metal

Yeah, I must have missed the last pic with it on your thumb.

Didnt register how small it really is. Gotta be from a play set.

Neat find.

I disagree with most ideas, however, I cannot offer a suggestion (or I know what it aint but don't know what it is).
