Thank you very much UNICORN.. Does anyone else know anymore details, i wonder about the marking on the bottom an also does it have any value. Thanks for your time an I really enjoy this site, have found alot of helpful info.

I'm thinking Chinese made. Here is a web site that might help.

There is an impressive list of known markings for Chinese and Japanese porcelain.

I did a quick eyeball scan of some of them and nothing jumped out as matching yours.

What made me think it may be Japanese is that it has the Crystanth flower on it, which is the national flower of Japan. Can you tell if it is hand painted or transfer printed. If it is hand painted it could be of some value, although it does have the appearance of not being old.
