I found this today and was told it was an antique trolley seat however I've come to learn that what people say it is and what it is can be two different things. I took a chance and bought it for 20 bucks, mostly because I thought it was kind of cool looking. Anyone have any ideas? It measures 23 x 13.5.

It can't be taken apart. I know they were a cabinet maker but according to the women they built the trolley seats for the main trolley in Bristol. When you type in "The Avenue Bristol" in a search engine you get a million things. Apparently The Avenue is a popular name for restaurants and stores there. Even typing in "The Avenue Trolley England" comes up with a lot of junk.

I figured out how to disassemble it! It just took some elbow grease!
