I know it's an old makeup case, but trying to figure out how old or if anyone knows any info on it? I found it 10" down at an old park. It still had makeup in it when I opened it. Here's a couple pics:

I'm thinkin it's from around 1926 .

I new I had one around here :tongue3: I found it a couple months ago . Mine has a patent date on the hinge ...... 9 - 14 - 26 . So check your hinge .

They seem to be from the same era .

It has a lot of green patina and I can't see anything written on it. I guess I could try and clean it and see if that helps. Thanks for the info.

With the "Three Flowers" on the bottom of it you can almost be certain that it was a compact sold by Richard Hudnut.

I haven't been able to find yours, but there are quite a few out there by him.

Here are a couple of links about him and his products.
