I would appreciate any help identifying this hand tool. It is articulated and acts like a screwdriver, but the point is square and not changeable. The angle is adjustable by means of a wing nut and slide. Millers Falls Drill 1.jpgMillers Falls Drill 2.jpgMillers Falls Drill 3.jpgMillers Falls Drill 4.jpgStamped on the side is Millers Falls C. of Mass, USA, and, Patent Date Feby 13, 1890, and the 9 is not clear. Thank you for any help.

It's an offset universal joint for a hand drill/auger.

The four-edged end is chucked in the drill and the other end has a chuck for the bit. To reach into odd placed (like between wall joists.)

"Patent Universal Angular Bitstock"

I think it's a No. 109 frtom OddJob's link.

It also looks like the inner jaws are missing from the chuck.

But the good news is I looked up what a "Pearson A Rating for rarity" means and that is "rarest". So I would say you have something a hand drill collector would want.
