There seems to be a banner with German (?) wording across the top of the brass on the left one. They appear to be interesting vignettes, what little I can see of them...

First thought was copper tots...

Surf, we know beauty is in the eye of the beer holder , and some times our eyes see the same thing, but I looked at the script on the top and read: No Wit, No Well Wishes. LOL. Since we don't know the size, I'm going to go out on a limb and say they are vintage embossed umbrella stands. And going back to my beauty statement, I have mixed feelings about cleaning brass & copper. Although they may look better cleaned, the natural patina is gone, well, that is if they are true antiques and not nice repros.
