This very old barrel shaped Jar with lid has what I think are Chinese characters on the bottom. There is a hairline crack along the side wall going down which I tried to show in the last two photos. Would anyone care to venture a manufacture date for this piece which is about 9 inches tall, region, style and possible value. It is part of an estate that we are settling and is one of the finer things we have seen. Thanks in advance
