Different makers. Any ideas on age, material they're made of, and value? Thanks!

They appear to all be mid 19th century to around the turn of the 20th century, with bone handles and one stag handle. No time to search for all the makers but here is one- V(crown)R Joseph Rodgers & Sons Cutlers to Her Majesty Patent (c1837-1901), star and cross on back of tang. Don't know about value. I have a handful of these myself somewhere, similar anyway.

Bone handles? Interesting. I thought they may have all been antler because a lot of them have that picture of a stag on the handle. I found that information on the "VR" stamped blades but haven't found anything on the other ones. I posted them to a couple British blade collector websites, too. They don't have as much traffic as this site so I'm still waiting for more responses there.

If anyone else has anything to add about these, it would be much appreciated.

The Henry Birks probably have celluloid handles. Here are the Rogers- Antique Set of 4 Knives Joseph Rodgers Sons Cutlers to Her Majesty Bone Handle | eBay

The "J. Walters" Globe works factory knives date between 1852 and 1865- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Globe_Works

In 1852 John Walters moved his business from the city centre to the Globe Works, his factory made table knives, spring knives, steel and tools and specialised in making Bowie knives for the American market. Between 1865 and 1910 the Works were occupied by Unwin & Rodgers.

Awesome information! Thank you!

I haven't been able to find much in the way of value for the ones other than the Joseph Rodgers blades. Any guesses?
