Yes, that's a big ol' handmade German latticino core swirl. Looks to be in excellent condition... did you get a good deal on it? It's worth a couple of nice steak dinners at least I imagine. Marble prices can be fickle, especially handmades, but I'd expect 60-120 dollars value.

Oh, I see now you hadn't bought it just yet. Check it over really well for damage as damage reduces the value. I don't see the pontils very well but it doesn't appear to be polished, which is a good thing. Good luck!
