Antenna's and a threaded cap or lid.

Antenna 1.JPG Antenna 2.jpg Are these antenna's? The all metal think is solid not hollow.

Metal Detecting 2012 2013.jpg April 14, 1904 Patented in the USA. I thought a lid, but with the small holes in it, that doesn't make sense.

Any ideas?

1st pic bottom looks like a broken head bolt

The threaded parts look like extension rods for a Stanley 45, 46 or 55 or similar plane.

Check ebay for a reference.

PATENTED IN USA APRIL 14, 1904 I tried to help but I come up empty because it appears there were no patents issued on Thursday April 14, 1904. Am I missing something?

I don't know, maybe I didn't find this thing! LOL I looked at the photo again and the only thing I got wrong was the word "the" isn't on the item. You have it correctly quoted above. Hmmm another mystery.

Maybe it doesnt exist.

It seems the Google patent database is not complete., I have noticed other patents that are missing. Maybe someone can search a different patent database.
