Another wheat penny today.

Just recently made it back from getting married in negril. I have been so busy, i havent had a chance to get out and MD in about 2 weeks.
Since getting into this hobby i have started using cash more and my debit card less.
Everytime i get change back from a clerk i will check my coins. Hoping to find the occasional silver or copper.
Yesterday i bought a 12 pack of root beer at the truck stop and paid in cash. The cashier gave me my change, and in it was a 1920D wheatie in fair shape.
I then asked the cashier if she had any more like such in the register, that i would buy them from her.
The store manager overheard me and said i was lucky i had gotten that one, because he normally goes thru the coins and takes them out for himself.
The cashier then didnt budge, so i made some occasional small talk about coins and md'ing, hopeing the cashier would eventually open the register and check for me.
After about a minute or 2 of random coin talk, i gave up and decided to go back to work.
Seems like everytime i try to talk coins with cashiers i have no luck.
Anyhow, even though i havent been md'in lately, i still found a wheatie. And that made my work day a lil better.
This morning it is raining, and supposed to continue raining all weekend. 100% chance, sigh.

I check my change all the time. Last year I went to the local food store and at check the young lady at the register gave me back a Buffalo nickel. I asked if she had any more old coins. She looked and in the end I traded even money for five buffalo nickles and three mercs..
