Another US/Philippines coin...

Found this many years ago and after seeing the post from outraged, wanted to poll Ivan for the value... This particular coin was found here in Tulsa Oklahoma... Ivan, any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated...

Note: If you look closely to the left of the date, you can see a very small S mint mark.

very nice shape --1944 san franciso (s- mint mark) made after the us regained control of the phillipines --it may have been brought to the phillipines by us troops 1944--at the 2 peso's equals 1 us dollars exchange rate of the day and each peso being equal to 100 centavos --50 centavos is equal to a us quarter--worth a couple bucks ($2) because they did not suffer the great loss by dumping like the pre 1941 coins so there still a fair number of them around which keeps the value down a bit---its value is mainly its silver content ---your is in very nice shape red book EF 40 in my veiw. --very nice --Ivan
