it might be a .69 caliber nice finds

69 “caliber” is the large Minie ball size. Ought to weight about 40 grams.

Scary big, huh?

Very nice finds sir, congrats.

Nice silvers Basssman. That is a real nice date on the Standing Liberty.

nice job you killed it! I still have yet to find one of those elusive standers

scary is right. it may not have been a killing shot in terms of instantaneously but between bleeding to death and infection it was terrible. everything was cut the whole thing off back then and that with a very dirty and contaminated saw. Oh yeah, awesome finds. pretty cool too!

Yes bass! Seems I've run out of steam but you're just picking up on yours. Congrats on some more goodies! You're a good man, you deserve it!

Great finds! I love those silver finds!

Nice finds. That is one big three ringer. Maybe it's just me but it even looks bigger than a 69 next to the quarter.

Caroline Tom, I guess I have the 58 caliper ?? It measures .570 x .995 and weigh's 32 grams.... still a heavy pc. to get hit with... lol

Yes sir that’s a 58 caliber alright. Very nice bullet indeed, and dropped not fired, there might be more!

You got nice silver too. Well done.

Best of luck you.
