Another sterling silver spoon found to add to my collection. This one is particularly decorated on both sides. I research and catalog the spoons as I find them.
Nice. Gorham produced these floral spoons in Sterling silver as a series of twelve, with pattern numbers from H401 through to H412 and a different flower to represent each month of the year. This one (H405) was properly known as 'May - Lily of the Valley'... not to be confused with a later Gorham pattern just called 'Lily of the Valley'.
