Primary reason against registration, with registration comes confisication............

Dont let American citizens own guns but.........
It is ok to ship tanks and jet fighters to Muslim Brotherhood, a Sworn enemy of America.
It is ok to smuggle arms to Mexican Drug cartels.....Fast and Furious....

Obama Moves Fast And Furious On To Hide Gun Hypocrisy

Gun Control: The president seeks a review of groups barred from gun ownership, while his attorney general asks the courts to keep hidden documents on running guns to drug lords sealed by executive privilege.

Presumably the list of prohibited individuals include Mexican drug lords and their operatives who to this day continue to maim and murder with assault weapons and other semiautomatic firearms provided to them by this administration under the gun-running operation known as Fast and Furious.

Attorney General Eric Holder has been tasked to review this list. Unfortunately, this representative of an administration that pretends to care about the causes and prevention of mass carnage filed a motion Jan. 11 to stay indefinitely a lawsuit by the legal watchdog group Judicial Watch filed to enforce a June 22, 2012, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

That request seeks all documents relating to Operation Fast and Furious and "specifically all records subject to the claim of executive privilege invoked by President Barack Obama on or about June 20, 2012."

The massacre at Sandy Hook is over, but the massacre of Mexican nationals, now in the hundreds, continues.

Answers as to how it happened and who is responsible for those deaths and the deaths of U.S. Border Patrol agents Brian Terry and Jaime Zapata remain as unclear as those regarding the hows and whys of the deaths of four Americans at our consulate at Benghazi.

Newspapers such as Gannett's News Journal publish maps obtained under FOIA requests listing the names and addresses of law-abiding citizens acting under their Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms, even as the Obama administration moves to deny FOIA requests as to how and why Fast and Furious occurred.

Executive order 13 of the 23 offered by the president days after his administration sought to keep its Fast and Furious documents secret says we should "maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime." Well, isn't Fast and Furious a "gun crime" of staggering proportions?

One of the questions that needs answering is how a gun bought by George Gillett, who was deputy special agent in charge of the ATF's Phoenix field office while that office was involved in Operations Gunrunner and Fast and Furious, came to be found at the scene of a shootout between a Mexican drug cartel and military troops that left Mexican beauty queen Maria Susana Flores Gamez and four others dead.

As part of his 23 executive actions, President Obama in effect nominated ATF Acting Director Todd B. Jones for a permanent position as ATF director.
While acting director, Jones has been accused by Sen. Chuck Grassley and Rep. Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Government Oversight Committee, of trying to intimidate, punish and silence whistle-blowers such as Special Agent James Dobson.

"Because of the numerous ATF mistakes during his tenure as acting director pertaining to Fast and Furious, his nomination is a slap in the face to the family of fallen Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, Mexican citizens whose murder has been linked to Fast and Furious weapons and ATF whistle-blowers whom he failed to support," said Issa, R-Calif.

"We have a president who makes speeches and an attorney general that makes speeches about how they're going to go after illegal gun sales, and yet there is blood on the hands of people in this administration, and we can't even find out who they are," Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, said recently on the House floor.

While the Obama administration campaigns for new gun-control laws in the wake of the tragic murders in Newtown, Conn., it sets a new standard for hypocrisy.

By continuing to thwart Congress' efforts to hold accountable those who let the same type of guns be sold to dangerous Mexican drug gangs — who then used them to murder U.S. federal agents — this administration shows just how cynical its gun-control rhetoric is.

Well that guy is definitely not allowed to sign up for our list.

That makes close to 400 sheriffs not counting cith police saying basically same thing, they will not enforce or help enforce new federal gun laws that violate 2nd amendment. Supreme court has already ruled previously that federal can not force state or local employees to perform federal tasks.

Am I the only one that sees Civil War 2 brewing?

Same situation: Country divided over key issues. Government wishing to exercise a similarity of control over dissimilar people with dissimilar lifestyles. Attempted elimination of States' Rights.
This country is even more divided over as many or more issues than it was then.
An arrogant president wishing to enforce the will of some over an entirety.

So many scary parallels.

No, I can see this coming as well. And to think Obama's first campaign touted him as the great unifier....LOL! Any one over the age of 16 could see what Obama is and stood for if only they used some critical thinking.....

Not that I'm aware of...I simply tend to get upset when people stick their nose in my business....especially people who should have no interest in my business. That goes double when those people give unsolicited advice, or opinions.
