Another shell jewelry?

I would say there is a good chance of it being "shell" jewelry.
Holes are not "in line"... but the diameter of holes are the same...
which is indicative of human creation... by use of a "tool".

Hard to tell people have been doing things with shell from the beginning of man til modern man. So some context of where found,or if found with other items ,they could help to put an approximate date when the shell was used for the jewelry. Like if you said it was from a Native American site I would suggest older but if in an R.V. park I would think modern (hippie)type era but shells are not easy to drill, I know I have used in some art projects I have done, You need patience with them.

About the scallop shell with the two holes my first question would be what kind of context did you find it in? If it was found where other Native American artifacts are found I would look at it a whole lot different than if you found it in a city park or something get my meaning?
The holes look to be the same size which leads me to believe they were made with the same tool that's good news if in fact it is a Native American artifact that's what I would expect to see.
If it is an artifact it would be considered a shell gorget
