Last night after Mikey n me left the pig roast. Hit the playground behind the house. Seldom hit it, few change droppers there, but pulled a dirty new Saca out, they go ugly fast in the wood chips. Mike pulled a few dimes so I think between us we broke the buck-fifty mark yesterday! Woo hoo!

This morning I pulled a wheatie and several quarters out of a nearby park, and a money clip at about 10 inches deep, sans money and worse for the wear. Out to dig silver today so it's back to the noisy ground where they come hard earned.

LoL!

Yah, those sacajawea coins aren't much, are they?
I think they are probably worse than most clad coins, the way they rust over.

Well, STILL better than a spongy zinc lincoln!

Congratulations on the Sac dollar. I've found two in tot lots in the past year or so. You're right, they're on the ground for one day and they get tarnished and ugly. I dug one in the dirt once, you don't even want to know how bad it looked. Let's just say for a split second I thought I had found a large cent. Those presidential dollars are no better.

What year was the wheat cent? Good luck with the silver hunt!
