Another Reale Day! and a couple IHs too

Pressed for time so here is the Reale I dug this afternoon on the outskirts of a NY campI have been working the last two years.

I believe your coin is a 1/2 real. The legend, in part, reads HISPAN ET IND R Mo etc..
If it were a 1 R coin, the legend in the same area would read HISPAN ET IND REX Mo, etc.
The 1/2 R is 18mm; the 1 R is 20mm.

I know of a gold hunter that found some 1730 reales while hunting nuggets at old diggings in Nevada. There were about 4 of them stuck in the blades of a pocket knife. So it is very possible to get old Spanish coins here in the southwest just due to the amount of Spanish gold traffic that has been through here.

Great job MB. Anytime spanish silver is found you can call it a great day. I found one the same year a while back. I only found one spanish last year but hope for more this time around.
