It was a beautiful day Saturday and I just couldn't stand it.
Sun was out, birds were chirping and my Deus was calling.
So I tossed it in the truck and headed out.
I only had a few minutes to hunt so I stopped at the local grade school.
These get hit all the time here and I never find much.
I hunted about 20 minutes in the sawdust and found a couple of junk charms, gold dollar, 2 dimes and 10 pennies.
Just swinging back to the truck passing zincolns right and left I get a banging high tone that freezes me in my tracks..
A couple more swings to check and yep it's not a sprinkle.
I bend down and part the grass and BAM there it is.
What a beauty.
It didn't last two minutes after the cleanup and showing to the wife.

Got to love this hobby...

PS.
Does anybody know the makers mark on this ring?

That's Huge! Nice save.

Very nice ring, but show us the "gold dollar" you found in the sawdust.
