Have been pounding this pond that was drained. Rain and snow melt have the ponds here filled to the brim. A barrier beach is cut with a backhoe twice a year. But lack of rain makes the looking slow and colorless. But managed to fined ground without boot prints and found a keeper. Waiting for the big pond to be cut iv lined up a few permissions for new spots. Any help on a time frame would be appreciated.HH

Some rain would help on that gravel. The point is almost all there.

If you can pick that broke out of that. You got this all figured out..I see alot of grid searching there. If there's any tools there you should have no trouble finding them....keep them coming... the fact that they are not in plowed fields might increase your chances of finding more whole points....

Thanks. Iv been on a kick of finding stones with just the tip being broken. Before the hunt I was like "I want one with the full tip this time". Tips is there but just the ear is gone haha. Funny sometimes when you get what you want

Its hard to do but if you look at the cracks between the cobbles you will find more. I do it when I walk a bar. Takes longer but I find more.
