Detector(s) used
Whites and Garrett. I use several machines, the ace 350 is a nice machine. I have a 5900, 6000, whites.
Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
The crops are starting to come off, and it should be a busy fall. I went back to the site that was a tavern site, the same site that gave me the 1858 1/2 dime the other day. Over the last 6 or so years this site has always given up some nice coins and a few relics. I am not sure why I find the 1859 Canadian cent, I have found at least 12 so far, maybe the owner liked the 1859 for some reason. I know if I find a brass 1859 it starts at in several thousand dollars. Today I found another 1859, the button is quite tiny, a cuff maybe. The other disk is a new one on me, it has the eley London name and the 12 gauge for the shot gun, but this disk does not have the primmer hole, I like it for it is another first. HH

Nice button. is it civilian or Military? And why do so many people put holes in perfectly good coins? don't they know it ruins it for us when we find them a hundred years later? The shotgun shell is unusual, maybe a rim fire :dontknow:
